Black Seed (Nigella sativa) is an ancient Indian spice known as ‘Kala Jira’, a flowering plant which grows in Southwest Asia and the Middle East. HealthAid® Black Seed Oil is exceptionally high in Thymoquinone. Thymoquinone is the key active ingredient of Nigella sativa and is responsible for its numerous health benefits, such as supporting the immune system by promoting immune cell activity. It might also have positive effects on respiratory and digestive health. Black seed Oil is believed to support overall cardiovascular function. 

The oil is cold pressed, without chemical extraction and standardised for Thymoquinone content. Black Seed Oil is also a rich source of healthy unsaturated fatty acids Omega-6 and 9. It is abundant in essential Vitamins and Minerals, including natural Copper, Iron, Phosphorus and Zinc.
